Kids Birthday Party

On Saturday June 27th we celebrated Kirsten & Jack's birthdays...Kirsten turned 4 & Jack is now 2! They have gotten so big! We rented out the bounce place, Jump Works in Manassas and invited family & friends. A good time was had by all the kids and most of the parents ( I sometimes thought the parents were having more fun than the kids)

Started Blogging

Hi Everyone, I am trying this blog thing. Still trying to figure it out, but this will be about my family. I have started the blog with Easter & Spring break. I will update when fun & exciting things happen with the 4 of us, ok 6 of us (just incase Toby or Brownie do something exciting).

Easter 2009

We began out Easter celebration Saturday night by dying eggs, this was Jack's first time dying egss, he had fun. We woke up Sunday morning early to search for the hidden Easter baskets. Kirsten & Jack got some candy, a movie, puzzle & a car. They both loved their baskets! We headed to church and then off to Aunt Janellen's house for a egg hunt and dinner. Everyone had fun searching for the eggs and after that they couldn't wait to get out of their dress clothes to play. For those who don't know all kids love to come to Aunt Janellen's house, she has a trampoline, huge play set and big sandbox! I didn't see my kids all day, they spent most of it outside playing.

Spring Break 2009

Therese & her kids came out for Spring Break this year. We had fun at Busch Gardens. The gang that went: Granna, Jasmin, Aunt Therese, Ryan, Lauren, Emma, Daddy, Mommy, Kirsten, Jack, Lisa & James. We had a beautiful day, the weather was PERFECT! Everyone got to ride at least one ride (including Granna). Jack's first ride was on the log flume, he wasn't too scared, just a little mad at the cold water (we all were) Kirsten wouldn't ride it because I took her on the new kiddie roller coaster, and she hated it, so she stayed back with Granna. We got all the little kids on the kiddie rides which they really enjoyed. It was a good time had by all! We finished the day at our favorite seafood resturant, Captian Georges and then head to our hotel for some much needed sleep.
